Chorus America Conducting Academy
As lead faculty, David Hayes will once again partake in a week-long choral/orchestral conducting academy for Chorus America at Cal State Fullerton. Chorus America’s Conducting Academy gives choral conductors a unique opportunity to develop choral-orchestral skills and enhance their university training. During this week-long program, participating conductors will focus on Haydn's choral-orchestral masterwork The Creation. A chorus and professional orchestra will be in residence, and the Academy culminates with a performance in Meng Concert Hall.

New York Choral Society Concert-POSTPONED
Randall Thompson Requiem NYCHORAL presents the East Coast premiere of an arrangement for double chorus and double string orchestra of Randall Thompson's Requiem. Requiem takes the form of a dramatic dialogue between the two choirs, a ‘chorus of mourners’ and a ‘chorus of the faithful’ who debate the darkness of death and the affirmative light of salvation.
