Mannes Orchestra

Since 2002, David Hayes has been Music Director of the Mannes Orchestra as well as Director of Orchestral and Conducting Studies at the Mannes School of Music, New School University.

“Over the years, I have come to believe that my orchestral work makes me a better “choral” conductor, and my choral work makes me a better “orchestral” conductor. ..Through my professional associations, I have learned that very few conductors do what I do – or have had equal acclaim in both the orchestral and choral worlds.
