NYCHORAL

David Hayes with the NYCHORAL members and orchestra, Carnegie Hall April 2013
Music Director of the New York Choral Society
Since 2012 David Hayes has been Music Director of the New York Choral Society. An amateur chorus of 180, he has improved the artistry, sense of ensemble and vocal abilities of NYCHORAL’s members.
David has grown the programming and continues to maintain his commitment to expanding the broader context for the audience of the works he performs, to bring New York, East Coast and World Premieres to NY audiences by programming with composers such as Jennifer Higdon and Frank Ticheli; and to partnering with such external entities such as the Arvo Part project.
